Speaking on winning the Bronze Medal at the Asian Games, Captain of the Indian Women's Hockey Team Savita Punia said that there is a regret that the team could not perform that well in semi-finals. Savita Punia said, “There will be a regret, ee knew that our team deserves good. We are sad that we could not give our best at the semi-finals.”
The Indian women's hockey team registered a brilliant 2-1 win over Japan to clinch the Bronze medal at the 19th Asian Games.
