TCS surges on entering into strategic partnership with Salling Group

Tata Consultancy Services is currently trading at Rs. 3497.05, up by 49.95 points or 1.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 3447.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3423.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3508.00 and Rs. 3423.25 respectively. So far 128605 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4585.90 on 02-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3060.25 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3508.00 and Rs. 3390.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1266746.71 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.59% and 4.64% respectively.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a long-term strategic partnership with Salling Group to drive sustainability, technology innovations and improve organizational efficiency. The collaboration will cover Salling Group’s 2,100 stores, brands and 68,000 employees across Denmark, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia including BR, a nationwide toy store chain, franchise quick-service restaurants Carl’s Jr. and Starbucks, and grocers fotex, Bilka, Netto and RIMI Baltic. 

As part of this partnership, TCS will help the Salling Group’s cloud adoption journey and subsequently stabilize the operations with the aim of driving more agility, scalability, and sustainability. Additionally, TCS will support the retail group’s digital transformation, focusing on enhancing the e-commerce platform to be more responsive to the evolving consumer demands.
