Tata Power moves up on collaborating with Bridgestone India to install EV chargers

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 255.30, up by 1.25 points or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 254.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 255.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 256.45 and Rs. 254.40 respectively. So far 287832 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 276.50 on 08-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 182.45 on 28-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 260.25 and Rs. 249.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 81497.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.66% and 28.47% respectively.

Tata Power and tyre maker Bridgestone India have joined hands to install EV chargers for four-wheelers at Bridgestone’s dealerships across the country. Under the collaboration, Tata Power will install 25/30 Kwh capacity DC fast chargers that are capable of charging a four-wheeler within one hour, allowing 20-24 vehicles being charged in a day. The chargers will be operational on a 24x7 basis.

Tata Power will provide installation and charging assistance along with maintenance support, remote vehicle charging monitoring and e-payments through EZ Charge mobile application. Besides, Tata Power EV Charging mobile app will help users locate charging stations, get updates on charging and recommendations on paying online.
