Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 654.05, up by 17.25 points or 2.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 636.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 661.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 665.45 and Rs. 647.00 respectively. So far 985833 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 677.90 on 16-Oct-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 375.50 on 26-Dec-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 665.45 and Rs. 622.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 216932.44 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.38%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.92% and 17.70% respectively.

The company has reported net profit at Rs 1,269.64 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to net loss of Rs 292.59 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 26.28% at Rs 19,121.51 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 15,141.84 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit at Rs 3,783.04 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 1,004.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 32.37% at Rs 106,758.98 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 80,649.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
