Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles surges on reporting 59% rise in total PV sales in July

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles is currently trading at Rs. 346.75, up by 7.00 points or 2.06% from its previous closing of Rs. 339.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 344.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 350.30 and Rs. 343.20 respectively. So far 596846 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 457.04 on 03-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 294.15 on 30-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 350.30 and Rs. 322.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 127796.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.51% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.39% and 23.10% respectively.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has reported 59% rise in total passenger vehicle (PV) sales (domestic & international market), including Electric Vehicles (EV), at 63,760 units in July 2026 as compared to 40,175 units in the same month last year.

Domestic PV (including EV) sales were at 62,611 units in July 2026 as compared to 39,521 units in the year-ago month, up 58%. Further, PV International Business (including EV) sales rose by 76% at 1,149 units in July 2026 as against 654 units in July 2025.

EV (International Business + Domestic) sales surged 114% at 15,217 units in July 2026 as against 7,124 units in July 2025.
