Tata Motors moves up despite reporting marginal fall in total domestic sales in March
Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 672.50, up by 1.10 points or 0.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 671.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 676.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 676.40 and Rs. 662.00 respectively. So far 193248 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1179.05 on 30-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 606.20 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 684.90 and Rs. 661.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 247368.23 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.58%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.47% and 21.96% respectively.
Tata Motors has reported marginal decline of 0.35% in total domestic sales at 90,500 units in March 2025 as compared to 90,822 units in the same month last year. Total passenger vehicle (PV) sales, including EVs, were at 51,872 units in March 2025 as compared to 50,297 units in the year-ago month, up 3%. Total commercial vehicles (CV) sales in March 2025 were down by 3% at 41,122 units as against 42,262 units in the same period last year.
