Sundaram Finance rises as its arm expands presence under Emerging Business segment in Chennai

Sundaram Finance is currently trading at Rs. 4796.25, up by 33.05 points or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 4763.20 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 4782.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4830.00 and Rs. 4782.45 respectively. So far 1053 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5528.85 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3738.85 on 12-Aug-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4830.00 and Rs. 4581.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 53288.19 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.22%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.47% and 36.31% respectively.
Sundaram Finance’s wholly owned subsidiary--Sundaram Home Finance has expanded its presence under the Emerging Business segment in Chennai, aiming to disburse Rs 50 crore over the next 12 months in the Chennai zone. The company inaugurated a new branch in Ambattur after establishing its first branch in Tambaram in January this year.
Sundaram Home Finance has already clocked disbursements of over Rs 200 crore in the Emerging Business segment and is looking to double this amount over the next 12 months.
