Market Updates

The markets are expected to open marginally higher today as trends in GIFT NIFTY indicate a positive start for the broader index after NIFTY closed 17 points lower at 25,492 on Friday.

Ashoka Buildcon

The company received a Rs.539.35 crore LoA from North Western Railway, Ajmer, for upgradation of electric traction system to 2x25 kV.

Coal India

The company signed a joint venture with DVC to develop a 1600 MW coal-based power plant at Chandrapura, Jharkhand, on a 50:50 equity basis.

Container Corporation of India

The company awarded domestic contracts for 08 BLSS wagons, 25 loaded reach stackers, and 12 BLSS wagons, totaling Rs.461.55 crore.

Hindalco Industries

The company plans to expand Aditya Aluminium unit capacity by 193 KT to 563 KT with Rs.10,225 crore investment via accruals and debt.

Hindustan Aeronautics

The company signed an agreement with General Electric, USA, to supply 113 F404-GE-IN20 engines and support package for 97 LCA Mk1A aircraft.

Hexaware Technologies

The company completed acquisitions of Cybersolve India, IAAS, IT Glitterz, and IAAS Canada, strengthening global cybersecurity and digital identity capabilities.

JSW Cement

The company approved issuing a corporate guarantee of $25 million (Rs.220 crore) for working capital facilities to its 55%-owned JV, JSW Cement FZC.

Max Healthcare Institute

The company’s subsidiaries Jaypee Healthcare and Crosslay Remedies received NCLT approval for their merger, strengthening structural integration and operational consolidation within the group.

Tata Power

The company invested Rs.60 crore for the second tranche acquiring 40% stake in KHPL to support 600 MW Bhutan hydropower project.

Waaree Energies

The company’s subsidiary Waaree Power acquired 76% stake in Racemosa Energy for Rs.53.20 crore, making it a step-down subsidiary.

Zydus Lifesciences

The company received tentative USFDA approval for Olaparib tablets 100 mg and 150 mg used in cancer treatment, with US sales of $1,379.4 million.
