Market Updates

The markets are expected to open marginally lower today as trends in GIFT NIFTY indicate a negative start for the broader index after NIFTY closed 112 points lower at 25,056 on Wednesday.

Ambuja Cements

The company’s subsidiary Penna Cement commissioned 2 MTPA brownfield cement grinding units in Krishnapatnam, raising consolidated capacity to 106.45 MTPA.

CRISIL

The company approved acquisition of McKinsey PriceMetrix Co. for $38 million, expanding wealth management benchmarking offerings and strengthening global analytics capabilities.

GAIL

The company plans to expand Jamnagar-Loni LPG pipeline capacity from 3.25 MMTPA to 6.5 MMTPA with Rs.5,364 crore investment.

Garware Hi-Tech Films

The company commenced commercial production of a new PPF line at Waluj with 300 LSF annual capacity at an estimated Rs.125 crore.

Larsen & Toubro

The company formed a strategic partnership with BEL to support India’s 5th-generation fighter aircraft programme, advancing defence capabilities and self-reliance.

Newgen Software Technologies

The company’s UK subsidiary executed a €4.22 million five-year agreement with TCS Belgium for cloud hosting, software license, and implementation services.

NTPC

The company’s subsidiary THDC India declared COD of Unit II (660 MW) at Khurja STPP, taking NTPC group’s total installed and commercial capacity to 83,696 MW.

Poly Medicure

The company signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% stake in Italy-based Citieffe Group (Medistream SA and subsidiaries in USA & Mexico) for Rs.324 Cr, marking its second acquisition within a month and expanding into orthopaedics.

SEPC

The company received a purchase order from Gefos Solutions for supplying construction materials for four infrastructure projects worth Rs.75.19 crore.

Tata Steel

The company infused USD 460 million (Rs.4,054.66 cr) by subscribing to 457.71 crore equity shares of its wholly owned foreign subsidiary T Steel Holdings Pte. Ltd.
