SRM Contractors soars on signing agreement for EPC Project worth Rs 278.48 crore

SRM Contractors is currently trading at Rs. 217.90, up by 9.20 points or 4.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 208.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 210.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 226.00 and Rs. 206.60 respectively. So far 53517 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 248.00 on 04-Apr-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 148.00 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 226.00 and Rs. 176.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 498.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.78% and 15.30% respectively.

SRM Contractors has signed the agreement for EPC Project of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for aggregate quoted price of Rs 278.48 crore. The project is for Upgradation and strengthening of Nashri-Chenani section from Km. 0.00 to Km. 39.100 of NH-244 via Patnitop in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir under NH(O) on EPC mode. Construction Period is 24 Months.
