`Special moment,` Smriti Mandhana on Indian women`s cricket team winning gold in Asian Games
Vice-captain of the Indian women's cricket team Smriti Mandhana, on September 28 spoke on winning the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023 gold medal. She said that it was a moment of pride for her and the whole team when they saw the National flag and sang the National anthem during the awards ceremony. "It was a very special moment for all when we won the gold medal. It felt great to see our national flag and sing our national anthem play there. I am really happy that we could contribute to the medal tally," said Smriti Mandhana.
