Somany Ceramics rises on investing Rs 1.80 crore in Sudha Somany Ceramics

Somany Ceramics is currently trading at Rs. 503.15, up by 3.65 points or 0.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 499.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 499.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 506.05 and Rs. 499.20 respectively. So far 980 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 609.15 on 08-Jul-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 332.00 on 10-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 552.95 and Rs. 435.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2058.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.98% and 21.83% respectively.

Somany Ceramics has further acquired 18,00,000 11% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs 10 each aggregating to Rs 1.80 crore in Sudha Somany Ceramics (SSCPL), a Subsidiary of the Company, by way of rights issue on June 10, 2026. The funds will be utilized by SSCPL to carry on the business and provide financial assistance in efficient manner to achieve growth plans and repayment of existing loans.
