Somany Ceramics inches up on getting nod to invest up to Rs 8 crore in Vintage Tiles
Somany Ceramics is currently trading at Rs. 445.35, up by 0.50 points or 0.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 444.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 478.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 488.35 and Rs. 440.15 respectively. So far 48526 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 623.00 on 10-Jun-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 332.00 on 10-Mar-2026.

Somany Ceramics has received approval for investment of up to Rs 8 crore by way of subscription/acquisition of equity shares in M/s Vintage Tiles (VTPL), an Associate of the Company, in one or more tranches from time to time. The objective of the investment is setting up of solar power plant and upgradation of the existing manufacturing plant.
The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on May 15, 2026, has approved the same.
