Somany Ceramics gains on completing acquisition of 51% stake in Dura Build Care

Somany Ceramics is currently trading at Rs 567.00, up by 1.95 points or 0.35% from its previous closing of Rs 565.05 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 571.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs 573.70 and Rs 560.50 respectively. So far 1318 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 794.75 on 31-Jul-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 396.05 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 592.95 and Rs 560.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 2320.73 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.12% and 19.87% respectively.
Somany Ceramics has completed the acquisition of 51% equity stake in Dura Build Care (DBCPL) i.e. 11,04,886 equity shares aggregating to Rs 10.30 crore. Accordingly, DBCPL has become the subsidiary of the company.
Somany Ceramics is in the business of manufacturing and trading of tiles, Sanitaryware and Bath Fittings.
