smallcase unveils new digital campaign
smallcase has launched a new digital campaign aimed at showcasing the growing breadth of its product suite. The campaign comprises three short films that introduce viewers to different smallcase offerings, including stock smallcases, mutual fund smallcases, and loans against investments. A distinctive element of the campaign is its business pitch reality show style setup, where products are “pitched” in a familiar, high-stakes environment. Borrowing cues from the popular format, the films use humour and cultural familiarity to simplify financial concepts and quickly communicate the value proposition of each offering. Together, the films reflect how smallcase has evolved from a single-product platform into a broader wealth solutions destination.
Over the course of next month, the campaign will be deployed across premium broadcast and OTT content such as Shark Tank, Ind vs NZ cricket series, Australian Open, Jio Hotstar, PrimeVideo and on SonyLIV.
Speaking on campaign Vasanth Kamath, Founder & CEO, smallcase said, “smallcase is widely known for its model portfolios of stocks and ETFs, which remain at the heart of what we do. Over the past few years however, we’ve gone well beyond our original offerings to support investors’ growing needs across their investment journey, with curated mutual fund portfolios, fixed deposits, credit against investments etc. This campaign brings that broader story to life in a way that’s simple, relatable and true to what we stand for.”
Aniket Thakkar, VP - Marketing & Business, smallcase said, “We were convinced we had a winning idea with a business-gameshow format which allowed us to almost be literal with benefits but not get preachy. All three films have a specific purpose to fulfil. First one explains how smallcases are ideal for deep, niche ideas which other asset classes don’t explore. The second one introduces mutual fund portfolios on our platform. The third one informs the customers about low interest loans as an alternative to breaking investments for emergencies. We hope our prospective customers love watching these, as much as we loved making them.”
smallcase has added several new offerings to its platform in recent years, including model portfolios of mutual funds, credit against mutual fund and stock investments, fixed deposits, direct mutual funds. The new campaign aims to build awareness of this expanded catalogue among prospective customers, without diluting the brand equity it has built around curated model portfolios.
