Skipper moves higher on bagging new orders worth Rs 588 crore

Skipper is currently trading at Rs. 240.55, up by 13.70 points or 6.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 226.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 241.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 245.05 and Rs. 238.05 respectively. So far 16398 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 254.90 on 01-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 66.30 on 31-Oct-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 245.05 and Rs. 208.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2459.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.24% and 19.87% respectively.

Skipper has bagged new order worth Rs 588 crore. Out of the total order, T&D business has received orders in domestic market from PGCIL and other customers for Rs 468 crore and orders in the international market for T&D business of Rs 120 crore.

Skipper is engaged in structural fabrication and manufacturing of mild steel and galvanized iron pipes, steel tubular poles, scaffolding and accessories and PVC pipes. Structural fabrication is the major contributor to the revenue of the company.
