Auto stocks slow down as Trump imposes 25% tariff on auto imports
Auto stocks fell sharply on the BSE, after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a 25% tariff on imported cars and light trucks, a move aimed at boosting domestic manufacturing.
Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 674.45, down by 33.50 points or 4.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 707.95 on the BSE.
Ashok Leyland is currently trading at Rs. 212.20, down by 2.75 points or 1.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 214.95 on the BSE.
Mahindra & Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 2729.00, down by 13.90 points or 0.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 2742.90 on the BSE.
