Samvardhana Motherson moves up on getting nod to raise Rs 5,000 crore via NCDs

Samvardhana Motherson International is currently trading at Rs. 136.10, up by 3.80 points or 2.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 132.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 135.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 138.40 and Rs. 133.50 respectively. So far 2845098 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 138.40 on 21-May-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 89.69 on 11-Aug-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 138.40 and Rs. 125.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 144384.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.60%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.58% and 17.82% respectively. 

Samvardhana Motherson International has received approval for the issuance of rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of face value of Rs 1,00,000 each, for an aggregate principal amount of up to Rs 5,000 crore on a private placement basis, in one or more series/tranches to certain eligible investors permitted to invest in the NCDs under applicable laws. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on May 20, 2026 has given an in-principle approval for the same.
