Sai Silks (Kalamandir) soars on achieving 11% growth in turnover during Q4FY24

Sai Silks (Kalamandir) is currently trading at Rs. 213.75, up by 10.70 points or 5.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 203.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 204.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 217.35 and Rs. 204.35 respectively. So far 32526 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 311.40 on 28-Nov-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 168.40 on 15-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 217.35 and Rs. 196.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3282.03 crore.

Sai Silks (Kalamandir) has achieved a turnover of about Rs 360 crore during Q4FY24 registering a 11% growth over Q4 last year. The company, achieved a total turnover of Rs 1374 crore for FY2024 -- a marginal improvement over last year.

During the year, company opened 6 new stores of Varamahalakshmi format with a total area of 43,896 sft. During the year, one kalamandir format with a 5,350 sft stores was upgraded to VML format - thus resulting in an addition of 49,246 sft in Varamahalakshmi format for the year.

Sai Silks (Kalamandir) is majorly in the business of retailing of sarees under the brand names of “Kalamandir”, “Mandir” & “Varamahalakshmi”. The company’s retail outlets cater to the entire range of sarees in the various price range.
