Foreign Affairs Minister of Sri Lanka Vijitha Herath on December 17 said the relationship between Sri Lanka and India is permanent and they want to further strengthen it. He also said that they can strengthen their economy with the support of India. “The relationship between Sri Lanka and India is permanent. We want to further strengthen it. With the support of India, we can strengthen our economy,” said Vijitha Herath.
