RBL Bank falls despite reporting 18% growth in gross advances in Q1FY25

RBL Bank is currently trading at Rs. 254.75, down by 7.95 points or 3.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 262.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 261.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 263.50 and Rs. 253.40 respectively. So far 161156 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 300.50 on 11-Jan-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 182.75 on 07-Jul-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 270.35 and Rs. 253.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15436.37 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.68% and 54.33%, stake in the Bank respectively.

RBL Bank’s gross advances stood at Rs 88,455 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2024 (Q1FY25), posting an 18% rise in year-on-year (YoY) terms against Rs 74,761 crore as of June 30, 2023. Total deposits grew 18% to Rs 101,351 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2024, as compared to Rs 85,636 crore as of June 30, 2023.

CASA stood at Rs 32,996 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2024, posting a 3% rise in year-on-year terms against Rs 31,927 crore as of June 30, 2023. CASA Ratio stood at 32.6% as of June 30, 2024 versus 37.3% as of June 30, 2023. The Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) stood at 137% as of June 30, 2024 versus 129% as of June 30, 2023.
