RailTel Corporation of India gains on bagging work order worth Rs 17.21 crore

Railtel Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 436.40, up by 3.25 points or 0.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 433.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 434.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 449.00 and Rs. 433.70 respectively. So far 109383 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 491.15 on 28-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 116.15 on 31-May-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 449.00 and Rs. 389.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13901.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.84% and 22.31% respectively.

RailTel Corporation of India has received the work order from Defence Research and Development Organisation amounting to Rs 17.21 crore (Including Tax). The order is for Hiring of IT Resourses for Managing & Sustaining IT services. The order is to be executed by June 30, 2027.

Earlier, the company had received the work order from Central Warehousing Corporation for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Modern Video Surveillance System across India amounting to Rs 51,53,29,790 (Including Tax).
