Rail Vikas Nigam rises on emerging as lowest bidder for Rs 404.88 crore railway project
Rail Vikas Nigam is currently trading at Rs. 211.60, up by 2.10 points or 1.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 209.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 212.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 213.40 and Rs. 209.80 respectively. So far 239776 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 400.90 on 29-Dec-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 203.95 on 02-Sep-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 214.00 and Rs. 203.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 43806.27 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.02% and 18.14% respectively.
Rail Vikas Nigam has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from EastCoast Railway for ‘Execution of Roadbed, Minor Bridges, Major Bridges RUBs/LHS, Building Works, Supply of Ballast, P. Way Linking and Other Allied Works including Utility Shifting of S&T and Electrification Works such as General Service Works including Power Supply Arrangements, Shifting and Modification of HT and LT Lines Between Khurda Road - Gangadharpur in connection with Execution of work of 3rd Line between Nergundi-Barang (22 km) and Khurda Road - Vizianagaram (363 km) on Bhadrak - Vizianagaram Section (385 km).’
The project is valued at around Rs 404.88 crore (including GST). The project is to be executed within 30 months.
