"Indian equities ended on a subdued note on November 27, 2025, as persistent intraday volatility kept sentiment bullish . The Sensex gained 110.87 points, or 0.13 percent, to close at 85,720.38, while the Nifty added 10.25 points, or 0.04 percent, to finish at 26,215.55. Sectorally, the broader market was weak, with most indices ending in the red except media, IT, and private banks. Oil & gas, realty, consumer durables, and energy declined around 0.5 percent each.

The Nifty 50 touched a fresh all-time high of 26,310 but faced selling pressure, slipping to 26,141 before recovering into the close. The index continues to consolidate within the 26,100–26,300 band, awaiting a decisive breakout. Key resistance is placed at 26,300–26,400, and a move above this range could open the path toward 26,500. Immediate supports are located at 26,150 and 26,000, and as long as the index sustains above 26,000, a buy-on-dips strategy remains constructive.

The Bank Nifty also hit a new historic peak of 59,866 before dipping to 59,522, but strong late buying propelled it to 59,737.30, up 209 points. The index remains in a consolidation zone of 59,600–59,900, with resistance at 60,000 and potential upside toward 60,200–60,500. Support zones lie at 59,500 and 59,300, and staying above 59,000 keeps the bullish bias intact.

Volatility softened, with India VIX falling 1.52 percent to 11.85, indicating reduced fear and improved risk appetite. Derivatives data highlighted call writing at 26,300 and strong put interest at 25,200. A sustained close above 26,300 will be crucial to rekindle bullish momentum in the sessions ahead."
