Below the Quote on Closing Market Summary 11th November 2025 by Amruta Shinde, Technical & Derivative Analyst at Choice Equity Broking Private Limited
"Indian equity markets ended on a positive note on November 11, following a volatile trading session that witnessed intermittent selling pressure across key sectors. At the close, the Sensex gained 335.97 points, or 0.40%, to settle at 83,871.32, while the Nifty 50 advanced 120.6 points, or 0.47%, to end at 25,694.95.
The Nifty opened weak but rebounded from lower levels, forming a bullish hammer candlestick pattern which signals of a potential trend reversal and buying interest emerging near support zones. Immediate resistance lies at 25,800, followed by 25,850 and 26,000, while support at 25,550 and 25,600 may continue to act as accumulation areas for positional traders. On the sectoral front, PSU Bank and Healthcare indices declined 0.3% each, while strength was seen in Telecom (up 1.5%), IT (up 1%), Oil & Gas (up 0.7%), Auto (up 1%), and Metal (up 0.6%).
Similarly, the Bank Nifty mirrored the broader market’s strength, closing nearly 550 points above the day’s low, indicating renewed buying interest and potential bullish momentum. Key support lies at 57,800, and a breach below this level could lead to further downside toward 57,900. On the upside, resistance is seen at 58,400–58,500, and a breakout above this zone could extend the rebound toward 58,800.
The India VIX, a key gauge of market volatility, rose 1.54% to 12.49, reflecting a slight uptick in market uncertainty despite overall subdued volatility. In the derivatives segment, open interest data showed the highest call writing at the 25,800 strike and the maximum put OI concentration at 25,600 — highlighting strong resistance around the 25,800 level.Overall, sentiment remains cautiously optimistic, with a sustained close above 25,800 expected to reinforce bullish momentum in the near term."
