Punjab: Nitin Gadkari, CM Bhagwant Mann inaugurate highest National Flag at Attari-Wagah Border
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated the highest National Flag of 418 feet at Attari - Wagah Border on October 19. Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that it was the best day of his life and also shared that it was the first time he came to Attari-Wagah Border.
Nitin Gadkari said, “Today, is the best day of my life. This is the first time I came here in Attari - Wagah Border.”
It's the Asian highest flag which has a height of 418 meters. The flag which is placed on the poles is 80ft by 100ft and the raw material of the flag is nylon and the flag weight is around 100 kg. The total weight of this flag along with this pole is 80 tons it took 4 months to complete. This is the largest flag in Asia and tenth in the world
