Preparations for the Ram Navami festival are going on in full swing in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Ahead of Ram Navami, thousands of devotees thronged to Ayodhya to offer prayers to lord Ram. Devotees were seen taking holy baths in the river. Ram Navami is an annual Hindu festival celebrated in spring, commemorating the birth of lord Rama. It signifies the conclusion of the spring festival known as Vasanta Navratri.Speaking to ANI, a police official said, “We have already managed many festivals. Our duty points have already been decided before. We are fully prepared. We have managed crowds in lakhs before and also during the inauguration ceremony of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, we are ready for the Ram Navami too.” A priest said, “This year the birth anniversary of lord Ram will be celebrated with grandeur.”
