Polycab India moves up on reporting 33% jump in Q4 consolidated net profit

Polycab India is currently trading at Rs. 5932.15, up by 24.50 points or 0.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 5907.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5851.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5997.65 and Rs. 5824.55 respectively. So far 25665 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 7607.15 on 15-Oct-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4557.45 on 28-Feb-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 6078.00 and Rs. 5450.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 88189.57 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.04% and 14.91% respectively.

Polycab India has reported 59.49% rise in its net profit at Rs 730.69 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 458.14 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 25.77% at Rs 6898.17 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 5484.75 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 32.68% rise in its net profit at Rs 734.36 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 553.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 24.59% at Rs 7033.87 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 5645.73 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

For the year ended March 31, 2025, the company has reported 13.13% rise in its net profit at Rs 2001.96 crore as compared to Rs 1769.67 crore for the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 21.14% at Rs 22132.86 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 18270.68 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.

For the year ended March 31, 2025, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 13.46% rise in its net profit at Rs 2045.54 crore as compared to Rs 1802.92 crore for the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 23.85% at Rs 22615.95 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 18260.32 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
