People offered Namaz at Govt Boys High School Sonwar on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr in Srinagar on March 31. Eid-ul-fitr, also known as the ‘Festival of Breaking the Fast’ is one of the two most revered festivals in the Islamic religion, with the other being Eid-ul-adha. The festival marks the end of the month of Ramadan and is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar .
