Organic Recycling Systems jumps as its arm secures two EPCOM contracts from BPCL

Organic Recycling Systems is currently trading at Rs. 180.50, up by 11.40 points or 6.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 169.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 184.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 187.00 and Rs. 180.00 respectively. So far 0 shares were traded on the counter.

Organic Recycling Systems' (ORSL) Wholly Owned Subsidiary -- Solapur Bioenergy Systems has secured two landmark Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation and Maintenance (EPCOM) contracts from Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL), aggregating Rs 167.30 crore (around $17.70 million), including GST, for the development and operation of organic municipal solid waste-based Compressed Biogas (CBG) plants in Mysuru, Karnataka and Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The Mysuru facility is currently expected to have a capacity of around 5 TPD, while the Raipur facility is currently expected to have a capacity of around 4.8 TPD.

The twin awards mark a major step in ORSL’s CBG growth journey, adding around 9.8 TPD of aggregate CBG processing capacity, expanding the company’s presence into two new states, and extending its engagement with BPCL through five-year Operations & Maintenance (O&M) mandates. The projects cover the complete lifecycle of the plants - from engineering, procurement and construction through commissioning and long-term operations and maintenance.
