Nifty opened with a downward gap and traded with extreme volatility on either side to end on negative note. Nifty closed at 23639withalossof 228 points. On the daily chart the index has formed a bearish candle with shadows on either side representing extreme volatilityaswell asindecisiveness amongst participants regarding the direction. The chart pattern suggests that if Nifty breaks and sustains below23550level itwould witness selling which would lead the index towards 23500-23400 levels. However, if index crosses above 23830 level it wouldwitnesspullback rally which would take the index towards 23900-24000
