MARKET REVIEW

* Equity benchmarks slipped for a third straight session, ending with modest losses after a volatile day of trade.

* The Nifty closed below the 25,800 mark, dragged by consumer durables, IT and financial services stocks.

* The S&P BSE Sensex declined 275.01 points or 0.32% to 84,391.27. The Nifty 50 index fell 81.65 points or 0.32% to 25,758.

NIFTY FUT TECHNICAL OUTLOOK

• Nifty is expected to open on a positive note and likely to witness positive move during the day.

• On technical grounds, Nifty has an immediate Resistance at 26000. If Nifty closes above that, further upside can be expected towards 26140-26200 mark.

• On the flip side 25780-25700 will act as strong support levels.

* Bank Nifty is expected to open on a positive note and likely to witness positive move during the day.

* Bank Nifty’s next immediate resistance is around 59570 levels on the upside and on a decisive close above expect a rise to 59700-59900.

* There is an immediate support at 59000-58820 levels.
