The markets are expected to open marginally higher today astrends in GIFT Nifty indicate a positive start for the broader indexafter Nifty closed 19 points lower at 22,434.65 on Wednesday.

 

Vodafone Idea:

The board is scheduled to convene on April 6 to review proposals forissuing shares, which may include equity and/or convertible shares,through a preferential allotment.

GE Power:

The company received orders valued at Rs 774.9 crore from JaiprakashPower.

Veranda Learning Solutions:

The company’s ownership stake has been elevated to 51% in TapasyaEducational Institutions.

Axis Bank:

The Competition Commission has sanctioned the proposed investmentof Rs 1,612 crore by the company into Max Life Insurance.

Brigade Enterprises:

Company signed a joint development deal with United Oxygen for‘Grade A’ office space, 3.0 lakh sq ft, gross development value ~Rs 340crore.

Vedanta:

The company’s alumina refining capacity at Vedanta Aluminium hasbeen expanded to 3.5 million tonnes per annum.

Thomas Cook:

The company has opened a new branch in Bhuj, Gujarat, in response tothe region’s robust and escalating demand.

Royal Orchid Hotels:

Company's subsidiary signed with Masa Hotels to run HOTEL MASA,with 300 keys, a restaurant, bar, banquet halls, and meeting rooms.

KEC International:

The company has obtained orders valued at Rs 816 crore spanningmultiple business sectors.

NLC India Ltd:

Company plans to sell 1.4 GW of solar assets worth ?60 billion by fiscalyear-end, advised by SBI Capital Markets, aligning with New Delhi’s?500 billion asset monetization goal, while also aiming to double coaland lignite production by 2030 and build 6 GW of new power plants.

Jindal Stainless:

Company is set to fully divest its 26% stake in Jindal Coke by September,having already sold 4.87% for Rs 36.49 crore, while also acquiring acontrolling interest in Spain’s Iberjindal S.L.
