The markets are expected to open marginally higher today astrends in GIFT Nifty indicate a positive start for the broader indexafter Nifty closed 151 points higher at 22,147 on Friday.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited:

The company has received a request for proposal from the Ministry ofDefence for 97 light fighters, setting up the largest-ever order for theaircraft.

Tata Steel:

The company has been granted approval by the National Company LawTribunal (NCLT) for the amalgamation of Angul Energy with the company.

Aditya Birla Fashion And Retail:

The company’s board has sanctioned the demerger of the Madura Fashionand Lifestyle division into an independent publicly traded entity, namedAditya Birla Lifestyle Brands.

Sterlite Technologies:

The company has had a claim of Rs 145 crore against BSNL dismissed by thearbitrator.

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank:

The company has obtained the National Company Law Tribunal’s approvalfor the Scheme of Amalgamation with Ujjivan Financial Services.

KPIT Technologies:

The company has completed the acquisition of PathPartner Technology fora sum of Rs 191 crore.

Central Bank of India:

The company has formalized a partnership with Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC tooffer mutual fund products through its distribution channels.

NTPC:

The company’s subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy, has entered into anagreement with Indus Towers to establish a joint venture aimed at pursuinggreen energy goals. The joint venture between the company and IndusTowers will investigate opportunities in renewable energy projects. Thecompany is targeting to achieve a renewable energy capacity of 60 GW bythe year 2032.

Nestle:

The company is under investigation by the FSSAI, prompted by the UnionConsumer Affairs Ministry, for the alleged high sugar content in its babyproducts in India, contrasting its practices in Germany, Switzerland, France,and the UK.

Lupin Ltd:

The company has launched Mirabegron, the generic counterpart of Mybetriqfor overactive bladder treatment in the U.S., following USFDA approval.
