MOIL zooms on recording 1.63 lakh tonnes of Manganese Ore production in November

MOIL is currently trading at Rs. 340.35, up by 21.10 points or 6.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 319.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 332.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 342.30 and Rs. 330.20 respectively. So far 153867 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 588.35 on 08-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 259.50 on 29-Feb-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 342.30 and Rs. 301.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6867.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.68%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.79% and 22.53% respectively.

MOIL has recorded production of 1.63 lakh tonnes of Manganese Ore in November, 2024, which is the best November performance since inception. During first eight months of FY25, the company has recorded production of 11.80 lakh tonnes, which is higher by 8.46% over corresponding period last year (CPLY).

On the sales front also, the company has achieved best ever November sales of 1.33 lakh tonnes, higher by 32% over CPLY. During first eight months of FY25, the company has registered sales of 9.90 lakh tonnes, which is higher by 4.76% over CPLY.

The company has surpassed a turnover of Rs 1000 crore within 8 months of FY25, achieving this milestone over a month earlier than last year. Continuing utmost thrust to exploration, MOIL has carried out exploratory core drilling of 63,654 meters during April-November, 2024, which is 1.28 times over CPLY.

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
