The acquisition aims to support the growing operational and capital expenditure requirements of the business of subsidiary company. The subsidiary company is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of advanced Automotive Switches.
Minda Corporation holds 60% Equity Shares of Spark Minda-Toyodenso India. The company has further acquired 1.8 crore Equity Shares pursuant to the Rights Issue (in the same ratio), resulting in no change to the ultimate shareholding of the company in Spark MindaToyodenso Indi, which remains at 60%.
