Marsons jumps on planning to form joint venture with Cleanhill

Marsons is currently trading at Rs. 132.65, up by 13.60 points or 11.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 119.05 on the BSE. 

The scrip opened at Rs. 123.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 137.30 and Rs. 122.65 respectively. So far 150053 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 188.45 on 09-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 100.45 on 12-Aug-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 138.10 and Rs. 113.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2166.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.65%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.30% and 46.05% respectively.

Marsons and Cleanhill Partners are planning to form a joint venture (JV) to accelerate transformer distribution, service, and manufacturing operations across the United States and Canada. Cleanhill Partners is a New York-based private equity firm with a proven track record of scaling companies supporting the build-out of energy infrastructure. 

The company is currently executing transformer orders for major U.S. renewable energy and utility projects, including GSUs up to 200 MVA and pad-mounted units across multiple locations. The joint venture combines the company’s transformer engineering and manufacturing capabilities and U.S. project experience with Cleanhill’s market network, capital, and operational expertise to address this growing demand. A longer-term vision includes full-scale transformer manufacturing in North America, positioning both companies to address sustained demand from grid modernization, renewable energy infrastructure expansion, and data center power requirements.
