Nifty Outlook
While the push higher early in the day raised hopes, the momentum fizzled away soon. Not surprisingly, only 27% and 20% of Nifty 500 stocks closed above their respective 10 and 20 SMAs respectively. The figures are the lowest in the last four days, amplifying the bearish bias. Nevertheless, while we start the day expecting dips to 24720-690, we will be on the watch out for upswings. We do not expect a collapse to 24060 right away, with 24500 region expecting to step in, as maintained yesterday as well.
