Sensex and Nifty gained momentum mid-week, driven by upbeat global market trends, boosting investor confidence. Sensex rose by 393 points, while Nifty surged past 19,800, marking a gain of 121 points. Except for PSU Banks, all other sectoral indices ended positively, rising by 0.5-1 percent.
From a technical perspective, Nifty shows a bullish trend, indicating it's a good idea to buy on dip. As for Bank Nifty, it underwent consolidation on the expiry day, finding support at 44,400 and facing resistance at 44,700. If it surpasses 44,700, it could rise further toward the 45,000 mark.
Hopeful that the Israel-Hamas conflict won't escalate into a larger crisis affecting crude oil prices and excessive volatility.
