M&M moves up on reporting 15% rise in overall auto sales in February
Mahindra & Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 2620.75, up by 36.75 points or 1.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 2584.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2629.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2695.00 and Rs. 2605.05 respectively. So far 53667 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3276.30 on 10-Feb-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1790.00 on 15-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2837.15 and Rs. 2573.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 327638.76 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 18.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 68.20% and 13.31% respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported a 14.78% rise in its overall auto sales (including exports) at 83702 units for the month of February 2025 as compared to 72923 units in the same month last year. Of the total, the company has posted 19% increase in domestic passenger vehicles sales at 50420 units in February 2025, as compared to 42401 units of passenger vehicles in February 2024.
Domestic sales of three-wheelers, including 3Ws, were at 6395 units in February 2025, as compared to 6158 units in February 2024, a growth of 4%. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles (LCV 2 T - 3.5 T) stood at 19155 vehicles. Sales of Commercial Vehicles (LCV > 3.5T + MHCV) stood at 1381 units. The exports of the company increased 99% to 3061 units in February 2025 as compared to 1539 units in February 2024.
