Larsen & Toubro declines on reporting marginal fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 3925.95, down by 130.20 points or 3.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 4056.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3984.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3984.95 and Rs. 3900.00 respectively. So far 158985 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4440.00 on 24-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3284.60 on 07-May-2025.

Larsen & Toubro has reported results for the fourth quarter (Q4FY26) and year ended March 31, 2026.

The company has reported 1.47% rise in its net profit at Rs 3560.92 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 3508.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 11.87% at Rs 48693.70 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 43525.52 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 3.12% fall in its net profit at Rs 5325.60 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 5497.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the company increased by 11.66% at Rs 84340.75 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 75527.33 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2026, the company has reported 42.16% fall in its net profit at Rs 6287.13 crore as compared to Rs 10870.72 crore for the previous year. However, the total income of the company has increased by 8.67% at Rs 161038.62 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 148178.22 crore for year ended March 31, 2025.
