Kotak Flexicap Fund Completes 17 Years with Rs 56,392 Crore AUM
Kotak Flexicap has completed has completed 17 years, the fund has posted over 13% CAGR. A Rs 10,000 lumpsum invested in the fund at the time of inception would have grown to Rs 84,044. A Rs 10,000 SIP since inception would have turned the investment of Rs 20.40 lakh into Rs 73.74 lakh, a CAGR of 13.66%. The fund performance reflects consistency across market cycles, along with steady long-term returns. The stellar returns are backed by fundamentals, research, and a robust stock selection process.

Kotak Flexicap Fund is an open-ended dynamic equity scheme investing across large cap, mid cap, small cap stocks. The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation from a portfolio of equity and equity related securities, generally focused on a few selected sectors.
The Tier 1 benchmark of the fund is Nifty 500 TRI. The AUM of the fund is Rs 56,392 crore (As on 31-Aug-2026). The fund is managed by Harsha Upadhyaya, CIO - Equity, Kotak Mutual Fund.
Banks account of over 23% allocation to the fund portfolio, chemicals and petrochemicals at 6.8%, pharma and biotechnology at 6.15%, aerospace and defense at 5.4%, retailing at 4.86%. (Data as of August 31, 2026)
