Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works is currently trading at Rs. 2258.90, up by 183.90 points or 8.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 2075.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2130.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2280.20 and Rs. 2123.90 respectively. So far 53790 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2282.20 on 07-May-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 765.00 on 02-Jul-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2,280.20 and Rs. 1913.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5543.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.63%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.47% and 32.90% respectively.

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works has secured a work order worth Rs 66.11 crore from Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India. The company has secured the order in consortium with its subsidiary -- Knowledge Shipyard. The order is for the design, construction, supply, testing and commissioning of 10 Hybrid Electric Passenger Ferries having a capacity of 20 passengers each.

The order is to executed over a period of 10 months, followed by a 60-month maintenance and support commitment. The order represents the first external commercial shipbuilding order secured by Knowledge Shipyard, validating the Group's investments towards creating a dedicated, scalable and future-ready shipbuilding platform.

The project broadens the company's business portfolio and strengthens its transition from a marine services and vessel operations company into an integrated maritime infrastructure and shipbuilding enterprise. The scope of work includes detailed vessel engineering, class approvals, construction, integration of hybrid-electric propulsion systems, navigation and safety equipment, testing, commissioning and final delivery in accordance with IWAI's technical, statutory and quality requirements.
