Indian Hotels Company gains on opening new hotel `Ginger Coimbatore airport`

Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 615.70, up by 1.35 points or 0.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 614.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 612.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 620.00 and Rs. 607.50 respectively. So far 55426 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 663.40 on 26-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 371.45 on 27-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 630.50 and Rs. 599.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 87313.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.62% and 16.27% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has opened new hotel ‘Ginger Coimbatore Airport’. The hotel embodies the brand’s signature lean luxe philosophy, providing guests with a contemporary and comfortable stay. 

The 68-key Ginger Coimbatore Airport is conveniently located next to the airport and is in close proximity to key business districts such as Tidel Park, Coddisia Trade Centre, Chil SEZ IT Park, and Thoughtworks Tech. The hotel features Qmin, the signature all-day diner, The Bar, a well-equipped fitness centre and a conference room. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 18 hotels in Tamil Nadu including 2 under development.
