HUDCO zooms on inking MoU with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company

Housing & Urban Development Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 204.95, up by 9.15 points or 4.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 195.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 197.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 205.00 and Rs. 196.70 respectively. So far 854555 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 226.95 on 02-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 40.50 on 29-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 205.50 and Rs. 191.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 40638.57 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.00% and 11.83% respectively.

Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (Mahavitaran), on March 7, 2024 at Mumbai, for providing of credit of up to Rs 5000 crore for the largest feeder level solarization scheme in India under PM-KUSUM Scheme.

HUDCO finances social housing and residential real estate through primarily lending to State Governments and their agencies, which, in turn, extend the finance to or utilise the finance for the ultimate individual beneficiaries.
