Hindustan Aeronautics moves up on inking pact to acquire stake in ATSOFF Helicopter Training
Hindustan Aeronautics is currently trading at Rs. 4648.90, up by 33.95 points or 0.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 4614.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 4603.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4685.20 and Rs. 4603.00 respectively. So far 8100 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5149.90 on 17-Aug-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3479.20 on 30-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4,781.20 and Rs. 4560.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 310712.87 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.64%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.32% and 7.04% respectively.
Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has entered into an agreement for acquisition of 50% stake in HATSOFF Helicopter Training i.e., 3,84,04,205 equity shares each with a face value of Rs 10 from CAE, Canada, at NIL consideration.
HATSOFF is operating as a 50:50 Joint Venture between HAL and CAE, Canada to impart military and civil Helicopter pilot training through operation of simulators. Upon transfer of the above referred shares, HATSOFF will be converted from a Joint Venture Company to a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of HAL. The line of business of HATSOFF aligns with the main line of business of HAL. The said transaction is expected to be completed tentatively within 60 days from the date of signing the Share Transfer Agreement (STA).
