Himatsingka Seide zooms on making further investment in AMP Energy C&I Twenty Four
Himatsingka Seide is currently trading at Rs. 164.95, up by 4.60 points or 2.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 160.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 160.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 169.35 and Rs. 157.35 respectively. So far 149517 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 186.60 on 14-Dec-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 116.00 on 13-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 171.55 and Rs. 156.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2061.54 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.57%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.73% and 48.71% respectively.
Himatsingka Seide has made further investment of Rs 5.73 crore by acquiring 57,24,900 equity shares of Rs 10 each in AMP Energy C&I Twenty Four (Associate Company). This is in addition to 2,600 equity shares of Rs 10 each acquired previously and intimated on May 08, 2024. The Company currently holds 47.30% of equity capital of the Associate Company.
The Company proposes to procure energy to fulfil part of the power requirements of the Company’s plants on a sustainable basis and to contribute to reduction in Carbon footprint. The said investment would qualify under Group Captive Power Scheme.
