Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, honoured Indian Kabaddi players of Himachal Pradesh, both men and women, for winning gold in the recently concluded Asian Games on Monday. In a felicitation programme organised by the Kabaddi Association of Himachal Pradesh and the Himachal Pradesh government in Shimla, six medalists from Himachal Pradesh were awarded by the Chief Minister. The state government has already announced a reward of Rs 15 lakh each to the gold medalists
CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said, "It is a matter of happiness that 5 daughters of Himachal in Kabaddi have maintained Himachal's glory and increased India's pride in the Asian Games. A separate function will be organised by the State Govt to honour our daughters."
