Information Commissioner Heeralal Samariya on November 07 was sworn in as Chief Information Commissioner. President Droupadi Murmu administered the Oath of Office to Heeralal Samariya at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Heeralal Samariya has become India’s first Dalit Chief Information Commissioner. He is an IAS officer of 1985 batch.
