HDFC AMC announces change in names of benchmarks and the scheme
HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) has announced addendum to the Scheme Information Document (SID)/ Key Information Memorandum (KIM) and Statement of Additional Information (SAI of Select Scheme(s) of HDFC Mutual Fund.
Pursuant to the intimation received from Asia Index (AIPL) regarding the change in names of the benchmarks offered by AIPL, HDFC Mutual Fund has informed that Name of the Benchmarks of the following Schemes stand revised with effect from June 01, 2024 (Effective Date): HDFC Index Fund – S&P BSE SENSEX Plan, HDFC S&P BSE SENSEX ETF, HDFC S&P BSE 500 Index Fund, HDFC S&P BSE 500 ETF, HDFC Infrastructure Fund, HDFC Small Cap Fund, HDFC Technology Fund and HDFC Pharma and Healthcare Fund.
Consequently, in accordance with clause 3.6.9.1 of SEBI Master Circular for Mutual Funds dated May 19, 2023, the following nomenclature of ETF/Index Schemes, which needs to include the Benchmark name, shall also undergo a change from the Effective Date: HDFC Index Fund – S&P BSE SENSEX Plan, HDFC S&P BSE SENSEX ETF, HDFC S&P BSE 500 Index Fund and HDFC S&P BSE 500 ETF. The scheme name of HDFC Small Cap Fund, HDFC Technology Fund and HDFC Pharma and Healthcare Fund is unchanged.
Accordingly, the references to the Benchmark and Scheme name wherever appearing in the SID / KIM / SAI shall stand modified as above. All other terms and conditions of the Schemes remain unchanged. This addendum shall form an integral part of the SID / KIM of the Schemes and SAI of the Fund as amended from time to time.
